Edoinyo Oomunyi means Rhino Hill in the native language of the Maasai. Stories from our Maasai friends tell of times when rhinos would hide in the bushes on this rocky hill in the Mara region. The bushes have since burned down and only a few black rhinos remain in the area, but let’s help the Mara Conservation Fund in their efforts to support the local Maasai community who are the front line of rhino protection. We created our Origami Rhino Necklace with a natural rhino-textured surface and origami-inspired design in both oxidized sterling silver and 18kt Gold Plate. The rhino hangs from a 17-20 inch chain.
